We offer a choice of bars and dining areas to suit the individual needs of our wide ranging clientele. Whether it be the private dining room or mezzanine area, with views over Auckland Domain and Auckland City 's skyline, we will endeavor to make your function special.

From cocktail parties to intimate dinners, weddings, or large scale corporate events, our award winning chefs can customise a menu to suit. Quality, taste and attention to detail are, without exception, our priority.

Depending on the size of the group, when it comes to food options, there are many - A la carte, set menu, tapas, or hors d'oeuvres. We also offer personalised cocktails, wine matching, themed menus, specialty cakes and more!

Our set menus start from just $59.50 per person and offer great value for money and many of our function areas do not incur a booking fee.

The staff were excellent, especially our main waiter, whose name I didn't catch, but who was personable and extremely helpful. Of course the food was just fabulous, and everyone was served quickly, efficiently and with very little fuss. I would also like to mention that Phil has been outstanding in organising the night, so helpful and knowledgable. I can't say enough, I am truly thrilled. "The Private Dining Room" Venue Hire Area

Picture of The Private Dining Room Venue Hire Area Dinner Setting Fully self contained with its own bar, music system, plasma TV, bathrooms, fireplace and adjoining enclosed pergola, our Private Dining Room provides a wonderful cosy and elegant setting for your next social event.  This exclusive space is ideal for private dinners, cocktail parties, business lunches and special occasions such as farewells, weddings or birthdays.

The private dining room caters for up to 40 guests for a seated dinner or up to 65 guests with the use of the attached Pergola area.  Up to 120 guests can be accommodated for a cocktail function.

"The Mezzanine" Venue Hire Area

Picture of Mezzanine Venue Hire Area If you are looking to entertain a larger group for a sit down meal then The Mezzanine at Iguacu is just the place.  Upstairs, tucked away from the crowds, it offers spectacular views of the Domain and Auckland City's skyline and has its own private bar and bathroom facilities.

Available for up to 100 dining guests or 150 for a cocktail function. Room hire is not applicable and if the space is required exclusively an agreed minimum spend applies.

"The Balcony" Venue Hire Area

Picture of The Balcony Venue Hire Area Upstairs at Iguacu and attached to the Mezzanine is The Balcony, which provides diners with a stunning elevated position over the restaurant below and an abundance of natural light.  This special space offers a unique and exclusive dining setting and can seat up to 30 guests.  Room hire is not applicable for this area.

Bars for hire

Picture of Stone Bar Venue Hire Area Leather Lounge Chairs Iguacu has two bars which are both the ideal spot for tapas lunch; afternoon coffee & cake; after work cocktails or pre dinner drinks. Our tapas menu is served in both bars from 3pm daily.

Both bars are able to be hired for a private cocktail or birthday party with no room hire.

Street Front Bar

The perfect place to people watch with views out onto Parnell Rise the Front Bar caters for up to 150 people.  With two plasma TV's this bar is also a great spot to watch live sports games.

This area is available for exclusive use with no room hire subject to an agreed minimum spend.

The Lounge Bar

Our newest bar with its mood lighting, stone bar and comfortable leather chairs all facing the fire, has the capacity for 40 people for a private function.  This area can be used exclusively for up to 40 people and no hire fee or minimum spend is applicable.

Outdoor Seating Area

Located off the main restaurant and looking out on Parnell Rise, this is a great spot to enjoy a good cup of coffee, or an ice cold glass of premium beer.
